Eye-ron Man 2 Update
Iron Man Left Eye covered.
We have previously looked at the Iron Man 2 here but here is more in depth version
The Iron Man series is full of interesting Eye imagery. The character of Tony Stark, is a great example of modern failed Hero, "Fallen Angel", super Men. Here are a few examples.

"Black Widow" Undercover Agent of Shield - Left Eye covered by hair
Whiplash - Left Eye covered by hair
Iron Man was released by Paramount. As many people are familar with, the icon of the Mountain is inter-changable with the Pyramid. The Mountain in popular religious culture, is the closest point between Earth and The Heavens, or Man & God. Even the image of a snow capped Mountain is similar to an Illuminated Capped Pyramid. Some people have suggested that The Giza Pyramid complex is a replication of the K2 mountain,the Pyramid is also a "man-made" or artificial mountain. The Paramount Logo was designed by William Wadsworth Hodkinson, the man who started Paramount. This forum suggests that it is Ben Lomond Peak, Utah, but looking at photos of the mountain, it is not a great match.

Some would say Iron Man the man that unites the world, or two houses, like Pharaoh Horus Narmar/Menes, or a version of the Fallen Angel Lucifer?
Iron Man Corporate Flag Wash Propaganda. Promoting the coming popular merging of Corporate World and State?
Spoilt Playboy Millionaire Tony Stark showing his true Elitist duplicitous nature. Politics are a means to an end, and irrelevant to him. The traditional Tony Stark character was honorable and a true hero, as opposed to the Iron Man film character who is extremely Narcissistic and self centered, almost an Anti-Hero.
Bill O'Reilly mouth piece of the Radical Right, used to reinforce Iron Man's Liberal status, and possibly a discreet ploy to gain favourable Press from the Fox Network?

Iron Man's Partner in a "confiscated" suit in front of the Pride of the U.S. Military the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber at U.S. Edwards Airforce Base. Hollywood has a very tight relationship with the U.S. Military Industrial Complex. Films like Top Gun would be impossible to make without the U.S. Navy Airforce for example. The relationship is also extremely useful as a Propaganda Tool, Recruiting aid, and an advert of Military Weaponry to prospective nations requiring Military Hardware.

Don Cheedle inside his Iron Man Suit. The square is the targeting icon for the suit, it uses the wearers Left Eye, perhaps that is the reason for the prominace of Left Eye imagery in the Posters? It is thought that is that how much of the next generation of military systems will be targeted.

One of the over arching and disturbing themes in both of the Iron Man films, is the excessive promotion of State Secracy. In that the people in a democracy need and should embrace exaggerated Military dominance, State Deception and that it is part of Modern Democracy.

Also it was visually marketed in a similar way to Transformers as discussed here.

Red Ice TV - Episode 4 - Symbolism in Logos
This episode was filmed in Bath and Bristol, England featuring special guests such as Michael Tsarion, Neil Hague, Ralph Ellis, Leo Rutherford, Neil Kramer, Dan Tatman and Peter Taylor. We also interview a priest, university students, teachers and of course a couple random pub interviews. We begin the show discussing the symbolism of two major corporations, Starbucks and Apple.
